City officials plan to begin a new round of testing for about 2000 smart water and electricity meters in April as part of the 5.4 million advanced metering infrastructure project. The effort, started in 2010, aims to replace 10500 analog meters and improve accuracy and efficiency after prior integration delays with Mueller Systems.
