Ku Klux Klan Parade In Falls Park Echoes Across Town
Last Saturday night a special inter urban car brought about seventy five white robed members to Falls Park. They were greeted by Pendleton escorts and formed a parade to the Big Four tracks then marched through the streets and returned to water street. A brass band led a procession of about 160 robed men with a fiery cross and large American flag displayed on an automobile.

Mrs. Sarah E. Bute, 73, wife of George Bute, died at her home on west Taylor street Saturday morning after a period of illness. She leaves eight children including Ray Bute of this place. Funeral services were conducted at 2 PM Tuesday at the family home by Spiritualist Mrs. Anna Benninghofen of Anderson, assisted by Rev. J Orr Powell of the M E Church.

Isaac Ball Home Damaged by Fire Near Pendleton
Fire at the Isaac Ball country home east of Pendleton caused damage to the dining room and an upstairs room. Discovered by Virgil Jones, the blaze started from the flue and was quickly controlled with a loss in the several hundred dollar range, insured.

Gas Well Venture Formed at Lapel to Drill in Township
