New Road Work At Reformatory In Indiana Underway
At the Indiana Reformatory construction drives ahead with 300 plus workers. Two steam shovels and many trucks move material as track connections near the In terurban lines are settled. A fifty ton locomotive arrives for switching duties while trenching and wall foundations advance. A new power plant, gravel washing, and concrete work proceed as roadway plans connect Rolla to Idlewold and possibly extend west to Main street. Mrs. Cleo Richardson undergoes major surgery in Indianapolis.
