At 4 o clock Wednesday morning the Union Flouring Mills reservoir embankment failed, flooding the area between the reservoir and Main Street. The U B S railroad and sidewalks along Arch Street were submerged. No serious damage occurred as the ground was level and water spread quickly. A large crew repaired the break and the mill continued grinding grain.
