Twelve Die After Santa Fe Wreck Near Sheffield Mo
Twelve passengers were killed and 30 injured when Santa Fe passenger No. 1 from Chicago derailed in a deep cut near Sheffield Missouri at 10 this morning. The train carried through Pullman cars for Los Angeles. The wreck left the tender and passenger cars piled high with several on board killed including two mail clerks and a baggage man. Names include James Seymour Richmond Missouri John McGregor Fort Madison Iowa Extra Engineer J F F Capps Chicago and porter Willem Hermani ro Porter plus several Swedish immigrants among the injured.
