Sumpter Camp Poised for Prosperity Says Attorney
Attorney Fred Fontaine of Sumpter toured the city and spoke on the camp. He said business is thriving and permanent residents will run camps, ore bodies tributary to Sumpter are vast and easily worked on the Pacific coast. The town is well built with costly business houses and a busy smelter. Mines are well equipped with top machinery and expect to expand in spring. Sumpter has shown phenomenal growth in seven years, with substantial investments and planned developments continuing.
