Saylor Buys 400 Steers for Butter Creek Feeding

B Saylor the Butter Creek Mookman plans to import 400 head of steers for feeding, via agent in the interior. Recently Mrs Elliott's health has declined, reducing their frequent encounters.

Death of Jas O Connell Hotel Keeper at Umatilla

James OConnell well known hotel keeper of Umatilla died yesterday of paralysis after a five day illness. His body was sent to Pendleton and will be taken to Walla Walla for funeral and burial under Catholic auspices. He was 64 years old and moved from Walla Walla to Umatilla eight years ago, operating the hotel since. He and his wife, both born in Ireland, leave seven children Mrs A A Stephens Mrs John Lennox Mrs A B Lingo Anna and Deed, and two sons Frank and James, all residents of Umatilla.

Coroner Jury Probes Death of Seymour Swanger

The coroner's jury will hold its third session at 1:90 this afternoon to investigate Seymour Swanger's death.
