Victoria Ont early reports say that three hundred passengers of the Canadian Pacific steamer Princess Beatrice, most of them Chinese returners from northern canneries, were landed safely after she went on the rocks near Noble Island. The ship remains fast on the rocks with holes but may be floated again.
