Dr T F Alyea, a mining man from the Imnaha district in Wallowa county, was robbed of $1000 cash Saturday evening. He had the money in a valise hidden among merchandise on his wagon headed from Lewiston to Eureka to pay miners. About 25 miles from Enterprise, near Sled Springs, the wagon was robbed. He camped with 38 others and no clew was found.
