Floods reached a new record as the Marlettia bridge over the Noogsuck River was wrecked and waters rose higher across the area with widespread destruction reported.
Ottawa, Nov. 29. The Canadian Telegraph and Telephone Company will not join the proposed American telegraph merger. Officers of the Canadian Bell Telephone Company deny involvement. Canadian Pacific and North Western companies have issued similar denials.
