Thomas Srittam aged about 20 surrendered to Marshal Walden claiming desertion from the navy last September near Puget while the cruiser Boston was in. He desires to return and complete service, enlisting again until retirement after 20 years. He entered service November 18, 1904, and has seen San Francisco during the earthquake and Honduras with Benton. He was released with liberty and city freedom, and may not be severely punished. Meanwhile a separate case in Seattle Department No 2 reports Gibsons being declared insane and incompetent, recommended for asylum.
