Drunken James McCombe fatally wounded Deputy City Marshal Walter Smith and slightly wounded Charles Finn in a Joseph saloon at 2 Sunday morning. Sumpter Nov 2 An amicable adjustment of differences between factions in the Sumpter Bourne road has been reached and construction will begin as soon as possible. At a stockholders meeting D L Killen was elected president Anthony Molir vice president and general manager and S H Bell secretary and treasurer. Surveyors will be put in the field next week to lay out the route and clear the right of way.
