Charter Presented to Local Rotary Club in Walla Walla

Pendleton Rotary Club received its national charter in the Elke club room with Clayton Williams district governor officiating. Brarete, president, accepted the charter. About two dozen Walla Walla Rotary members aided, with six Portland delegates. Guests and local members enjoyed a luncheon and singing after the event. Portland guests returned home, while the Walla Walla group drove away.

He will also handle used automobiles, after arriving in Pendleton two years ago from Chicago where he built a long real estate career. The accident occurred on April 7, 1918.
