Big excursion from city to Hermiston May 27
Excursion trains attach to the Portland local at 8 am for a day trip to Hermiston. A reservoir visit follows and at 1 30 pm exercises at M B church loom large with speeches by H M Cake D C Henry John T Whistler and Interior Department reps. A prize program and large turnout from Umatilla and eastern Oregon counties are planned for the event.
