101 Ranch to Show Here in Pendleton Date

Pendleton residents will get a chance to see the 101 Ranch traveling wild west show on June 12 organized by H J Massie advance man. Round-up Park is favored for the venue with Round-up directors supportive of inviting the rival home frontier carnival. The show is praised as among the greatest road shows, rivaling the Buffalo Bill show. A miniature Round-Up yesterday drew crowds to the Barney Sherry ranch on the reservation where wild west stunts were performed. The Sunday timing may end after protests from Tutulla Indian church members led by Rev J M Cornelison to Agent Swartelander, who promised action to avoid repeats. Local observers report Pendleton attendees enjoyed riding and stunts, with at least one resident among the crowd.
