Mall Contracts Change for Canyon City to Mitchell Route

W H Damon and Sidney Green of Mount Vernon will start a new contract to carry the Canyon City to Mitchell route next Wednesday. R N Morrow of Sedalia previously held the contract for nearly 5000 dollars and sublet it to a Grant county resident before abandoning it. Green has since carried the route under a different arrangement, while Morrow’s abandonment disrupted other connections including Canyon City southwest to the free country and Long Creek to Ukiah where it connects to Pendleton. J W Caldwell of Long Creek will likely fulfill the abandoned Long Creek Ukiah contract.
