Yrggs Blow Safe and Escape With Gold in Bank Heist

Strikers Attend Funeral of Youth Killed in Riot

Several hundred strikers from the Gould Coupler plant at Lancaster marched at the funeral of Skolonski, the boy shot by guards during an attack on nonunion workers en route to fill vacancies at the Coupler works. Rev J B Tallman Dies in Tampa Florida

Rev J B Tallman father of J W Tallman died at 7 30 this morning in Tampa Florida after illness due to old age. Body to be buried in Watervliet Michigan. Tallman born near Hamilton Ontario 86 years ago. He taught school before the Civil War and served as Methodist minister 49 years with travel abroad. He leaves six children and widow burial in Watervliet noted.

Telephone Trust Admits Violation in Northwest Decree

Portland March 26 The American Telephone and Telegraph Company and its Pacific Northwest subsidiaries admit violation of the antitrust act. The sweeping decree settles the government suit filed last July against the so called telephone trust. The decree, signed by Federal Judge Bean, ends long running settlements and affects many Northwest companies, including some in Oregon.

Explosion sinks steamship Maui near Pearl Harbor

Honolulu reports of a blast aboard the steamship Maui led to a night search for 34 missing souls. Explosives aboard caused the vessel to lower, boilers burned, and tugs returned with no bodies recovered.
