Chicago March 20 Vice-President Whitney of the Brotherhood of Railway Trainmen declined to accept railroad terms. Officials of nineteen roads running into Chicago would continue negotiations with yard switchmen. Whitney warned that if the railroads break negotiations five thousand switchmen will strike immediately. The railroads demand the men drop pay and a half for overtime on Sundays and holidays.

Suspect Wife Charged in Admiral Eaton Poisoning
In Hingham Mississippi on March 20 Mrs Eaton was arrested for the murder of her husband Rear Admiral Joseph G Eaton. An inquest into his death was resumed and the district attorney said poison caused the death though the source was not found. Mrs Eaton, escorted by two officers, appeared in court before Judge Pratt and pleaded not guilty. the case was continued to March 28 and she was held without bail.
