Log-Rolling Session Moves to Pendleton Meeting
The board of grand managers of the Women of Woodcraft adjourned from Leadville to meet in Pendleton during the great log rolling session April 21 22. The event will draw grand officers and Woodmen of the World leaders to eastern Oregon with plans for districting, new circles and a larger membership now totaling about 30 000 across nine western states. Local efforts include a Woodcraft brass band, public drills, and a Pendleton ball already noted as a major success with proceeds aiding the log-rolling fund.
