Man Charged With Involuntary Manslaughter In Drunken Auto Incident
Tillamook, Or March 9 Charles Blur was charged with involuntary manslaughter in the death of Walter Smith on the Miami river March 6. Both were intoxicated on hard cider. Blur's preliminary hearing set for March 17 with bond at $2500. Smith died after a collision near Blums garage as a horse and car collided, his feet tangled in the machine. Roy Smith, brother, and two women were in the party. Smith’s body was found after three hours search.
