Sergeant Anthony F F Dorksha ken of Umatilla county returns home after honorable discharge and brings a fellow recruit, Tate Costrick, to Pendleton. Costrick served with Dorkshagen after joining the army from Asteria, both later transferring to the 72nd Infantry and landing in France on October 28 but not reaching the front. They depart this morning for Hermiston where Dorkshagen has a farm he left when called to service.
