The mine boasts a 40 stamp mill, 120 ton daily capacity, 650 foot tunnel, 600 foot sinking depth, and high grade pay shoots discovered on multiple levels with ore valued up to 50 per ton in the second level.

Weston to be Terminus of Washington & Columbia line
The Walla Walla Union reports a rumor that Weston will become the terminus of the Washington and Columbia River Railway high line. The proposed route would run east from Athona parallel to the Oregon Railway and Navigation track to Weston, with yards and depot at the hill near All Saint's Church. The extension would connect Weston to Hunt's Junction and Northern Pacific, offering direct wheat shipping routes and improved access beyond current Oregon line depots. Ely's Cream Balm ad follows.
