A. Mitchell was arrested in La Grande after escape and recapture amid discovery of eighty six county warrants stolen from Union County Clerk's office last June. He worked on abstracts with Carroll and Wilson and looted warrants worth 285.05. Officials moved notes to Union while Mitchell was escorted. he escaped briefly then recaptured.
