Hermiston Oregon June 30 The Umatilla River Water Users association reports new water application forms 20 and BW 4021 under June 16 1911 interior department rules. Applications must be duplicated and recorded in county records with contracts. oaths of disinterestedness. and immediate return of originals to La Grande office.

Governess Electrocuted While Lighting Children’s Wire
Olga and Edward Beneke residents of 566 Stratford place asked their governess Miss Fannie Wakeths to obtain a dangling electric light wire. She grasped the glowing copper strand and was struck dead by 2500 volts. Police report sorrowful scene as the city recalls the accident.

Attorney Barnes Slain in Oregon Quarrel Foe Faces Manslaughter
Eye witnesses testified that Oregon attorney George Barnes was the aggressor in a city quarrel with George Anderson.
