Train Bandits Trailed to Coos County

Reported in Portland on June 2 that the hunt for the bandits has narrowed to the timbered district between Ash and Loon Lake in northern Coos county. A small posse of fewer than a dozen men moves westward from Ash and another force advances northward from Allegany toward the area.

Water Board Ready to Condemn Condern Springs Water Source

The water board plans to sue to condemn and take control of Condern Springs if terms are not agreed. Owners Weeenix and Wet-al-at-sa-mi have rejected a $2,500 offer for the spring and adjoining 26 acres, hiring attorney H. I Wyatt of Athena. Condemnation action could begin within days.

Dissolution Ordered of Power Trust by Delaware Court

The U S circuit court in Wilmington Delaware ruled the Henvold Pupont dominated power trust a restraint on interstate commerce and decreed its dissolution.
