Blind Tom Dunraven Causes Stir In Portland
A 61 year old blind tramp from Dublin, riding through Portland, was escorted to an electric car toward Vancouver after a drunken scare. He told odd life stories, claimed past rail work, rebel army service, and showed about 10 dollars. He resisted briefly and was taken to court for inquiry and released with a humorous farewell to the city jail.

The fruit is dark in color, flavorful, firmer for shipping, and said to be prolifically productive, with potential to boost the Walla Walla valley berry crop. He reports three acres in berries, though this year’s output is limited by backward season and rains hindering pollination.
