Riches of Goldfield Miner Sees Nevada Camps as Superior
John Enebee, newcomer from Goldfield, tells Boise Capital News there is no mining camp rivaling Goldfield and other Nevada camps. He notes vast ore piles worth 10 to 20 dollars per ton in gold, with some ore exceeding six thousand dollars per ton in gold and silver, awaiting nearby reduction plants. He, a veteran miner, adds Nevada ore shows no surface lava or granite and is mainly porphyry, predicting widespread employment once reductions works are built.
