Seattle June 3 With a large delegation from Oregon and Washington the Northwestern Development congress opens at the Coliseum. The booster train from Minneapolis and St Paul brings delegates from seven states including Idaho Montana North Dakota South Dakota Oregon and Washington. The state democratic convention in Toledo on June 5 adopted the unit rule, compelling the nineteen Wilson delegates from the recent primaries to vote for Harmon at Baltimore. The resolutions committee majority with the unit rule passed by 697 to 357.
