Yardmaster J W Leak Dies After Rail Injury
J W Leak, yardmaster at Starbuck for the O R & N, died last night from injuries after being run over by a locomotive. He was about 50, had served as yardmaster about two years and had no relatives in the area. He was sent by train toward Prescott for hospital care but died before arrival. His left leg was severed at the hip and head and body injuries were noted. Remains were brought to the city and placed with MacMartin Undertaking Co.
