The President's View on Draft Age Limits
Caplain Gilbert of the Third Oregon cruises Governor Withycombe and Superintendent Churhill for efforts to keep boys under draft age in high school and college during the war. The chaplain is enthusiastic but mistaken. Withycombe is right. There are 10,000,000 conscription age men now, far more than the country can take, so underage boys should not be urged to join the colors hastily.
