J W Noble and Ed Noble from Birch creek brought in a monster rattlesnake skin killed near the Charles McBee ranch Saturday. The four foot snake had a head inch and a half wide, twelve rattles and a button. It was found entering an alfalfa field and killed to preserve skin and head. The Nobles report many rattlers on Birch creek this year in alfalfa fields as they hunt field mice.
