Aurora Illinois February 24. Frank Raymer and Frank Baxter are under arrest on hog stealing charges. Three other men have been arrested on the same charge. The group chloroformed hogs in farm country, then loaded them into wagons and drove them to market.

In Hot Springs Arkansas on February 23 a jail delivery freed 22 prisoners by sawing bars. A. Conlin alias P A Daniels led the breakout after being held for a San Francisco detective and a grand larceny charge. Sheriff Houpt and officers pursued two men toward Little Rock.
