Evangelist Rev Allen Wilson to Start Portland Meetings
The First Christian church in this city ended six weeks of evangelistic meetings led by Rev. Allen Wilson with a strong sermon on dangerous border lines of popular amusements. Over 100 new members joined, and the congregation is pleased with the outcome. Wilson departs Saturday for Portland to begin a series of meetings at the First Christian church there starting Sunday evening. The Haudenschield series in town also drew praise, with wide local support and friendships formed. The joint union churches mark the effort as highly successful and far reaching.
