A man who gave the name W Wright and claimed to be from Faker City died of confluent smallpox at the pest house last night. He appeared about four years old in dress, was well dressed, reticent about himself, and had been quarantined three weeks since the fire stages of the absence. Coroner Cole and the officer in charge recorded no clear identity or previous residence, noting he might have misrepresented his status to gain access to charity.
