Trustees consent to pay 5000 dollars for assigning the son’s contingent right to renew copyrights of Eddy’s works.
Chicago reports former police chief George Shippy was adjudged insane and ordered sent to an asylum by court order. His wife initiated an investigation into his sanity as part of the proceedings.
Mrs Lige Gilmore confesses to luring her husband into a dark alley to enable accomplice James Lynn to shoot him. Both Gilmore and Lynn are charged with first degree murder. She says her husband’s alleged cruelty prompted the crime.
In New York a federal jury ended the trial of Archie Wuesner and John J. Meyer over mail fraud allegations tied to a $51 million mining syndicate.
