Girl 8 Killed by Train at Troutdale
Sadie Utting thirteen, daughter of a Troutdale widow, was struck and killed by the Chicago Special of the O R & N railroad at 2 20 Saturday morning while carrying milk pails near the depot. The engine struck her at about 66 miles an hour and hurled her body against the depot weathered eaves. No inquest is planned and no fault is found with the train crew.
