Bruesels Feb 7 Giron arrived this afternoon denying tales of a separation claiming it is temporary to allow the princess to see her ill child if possible. He stated he cannot speak about the future, calls the princess his life and says he will do whatever she believes best, declaring I am her knight for life and I love her madly.

Washington February 7. In the house, the Littlefield antitrust bill faced amendments with reactionary effects on corporations failing. Sulzer of New York opposed in a 15 minute speech charging the bill as drawn by a New York trust lawyer. Littlefield ridiculed the plan as a dreamland fabrication. The roll called at 3 39, the Littlefield bill passed unanimously 245 to 0 and the house adjourned. Ohio Western Pennsylvania and Indiana bituminous miners and operators reached a noon settlement and will report this afternoon for ratification at the general wage conference. Carrie Pickering known also as Cecil Norwood and nicknamed Ca el, died of morphine poisoning at the Columbia lodging house after a night of ill health and a walk for relief. An empty morphine bottle was found. she denied taking anything, saying she was broken hearted. Inquest underway. she was about 22 with no local relatives.
State department received a cablegram from Sydney N S W reporting the American consulate there destroyed by fire yesterday. All the records were saved.
Mrs Payne Whitney formerly Helen May announced the birth of a daughter in New York on February 7. The couple wed on February 7 last year and the birth is reported as a family event with standard social acknowledgment.
