The self confessed killer Valet Jones, who turned state's evidence, remains immune. Patrick insists the governor acted with grave misjudgment and plans to continue fighting for liberty.
A divinity student Henry B D Pere dune from Chirny Col studying at Moody Institute plans to be a missionary. He was arrested in Chicago accused of annoying Ida Mahon and Mabel Jones at a theater. He faces a disorderly conduct charge.
Superior Wis December 20 The Great Northern is assembling an eighty car coal train bound for Grand Forks N D on the passenger schedule by double header. It will include a boarding car and will not stow even for the crew's ascent.

Plans include fencing the property with wire netting, landscape gardening, shade tree planting, and upgraded laboratories and equipment for scientific departments. Dormitories will be furnished, a commercial department set, and a faculty committee will draft a legislative bill for the coming session to secure funding and support.
In Koness City on December 20 cattlemen and coal mine operators testified before Commissioner Prouty. They complained of losses from inability to ship to market. Prouty said railroads may set a two cent mileage and that the law has stopped rebating.
