William J Bryan travels from Tampa to meet President elect Wilson and democratic leaders to discuss Wilsons cabinet. They will meet Gov Wilson in Trenton. Railroad to replace Main Street sidewalks with concrete

In response to the street committee, the D W R N company will replace old wooden sidewalks on Main street with concrete walks along the street frontage on both sides. The east side gains two full blocks and the railroad’s fractional block, plus two blocks on the north side. Work will start when weather permits. a contract has reportedly been let.

Federals Advance on Rebels Near Juarez Standoff

El Paso reports more than eleven thousand federals moving toward three thousand rebels about 26 miles from Juarez. The rebels allegedly burned fifty five trestles below Juarez and captured J Morris an American foreman while trying to extinguish fires.

Large Ranch Sells for 20000 in Camas Prairie Deal

A 600 acre Camas Prairie ranch in the south end of the county sold for 20000 to Lewis Dern of Kennewick Washington. Alfred P. Myrick transfers stock and equipment. Myrick takes 20 acres of improved land near Kennewick as part of the deal. George R. Col of Colvin Realty Co. arranged the sale and returns home after finalizing transfer.

Coroner wires former Mayor Matlock of Eugene for disposal instructions on the body of the man who attacked Myrtle Huff near Santa Ana. Officials contend the deceased may be Tra Jones, while relatives deny the suspect is Joe Matlock.
