Milton news reports a new gravity water system nearly ready for operation, including a 100 by 140 foot, 10 foot deep reservoir fed by a perpetual spring. The project will cost several thousand dollars and promises clearer water with less mud after rain.

Pendleton Drug Co presents Foley's Honey and Tar for coughs colds and lung trouble as non opiate and free of harmful drugs. The notice claims it is a safe remedy for children and adults and emphasizes its immunity from National Pure Food and Drug laws.
Alba report notes Ora Arbogast has half million loge cut and skidded. Ranger establishes headquarters at Ukiah trail maker halts work due to freezing weather. Grand Ball planned for Christmas Eve supper, free. Weather cool with light snow flurries. Milk and beef cattle feed limited. work horses mostly fed. Arbogast cuts a tree with first 12 feet measured.
The Waitsburg Times reports Milt Denny, three miles west of town near Bolles Junction, sent a ripe watermelon to his office on December 11. He and friends said the melon, picked that day, was firm and sweet and unprotected from weather. Vines were killed by frosts but no freeze yet.
