Six Injured in Hand Car Crash at Avondale Junction
This morning six Narrow Gauge railroad workers boarded a hand car at Avondale Junction and it sped down to Gilbert avenue where a stone on the track hurled them into an embankment. Four men Pheiffer Jan Powers Chas Shelly and T Sullivan were dangerously hurt Pat Dunkell and an unknown man were lightly injured. Authorities suspect the stone was placed on the track on purpose.
