It compares mythic wonders unfavorably, offers tests for credibility, and promotes personal transformation as a modern miracle. The event ends with a musical recital by Miss Lingenfelter and readings by Mrs. Rose.

Christian Church Revival Ends After Six Weeks of Work

The Pendleton Christian church revival led by Mr Holmes concluded last night after six weeks of evangelistic effort. Numbers joining were modest, but strong spiritual gains were noted as the Bible school grew over 60 percent and the evening services drew packed crowds. Holmes announced he would remain with the congregation until year’s end, and the church hopes he will continue as pastor. He outlined a city-wide organizing plan, with district superintendents and helpers to contact members, aid the sick, enlist Bible students, and advertise services. He spoke on the Unpardonal Sin, urging acceptance of Christ and warning against neglecting spiritual opportunities.
