Price shows Chicago as Wheat Price Across Northwest
Spokane conference faction from Oregon reports a $3.20 price applies at all terminals while Harrah favors $2.20 for northwest club. Locals argue the 226 price exists only for Chicago and farmers pay freight to Chicago. Some expect northwest wheat to be shipped by water, offsetting ocean freight versus rail to New York.
