Italian Offensive In Alps Reports From August 16
Washington dispatch says Italian forces in the Alps launched intensified artillery along a 25 mile front near the Swike border. Alpine troops advanced toward Mount Mentelio and Mount Albiois while Austro German detachments concentrate in Frentine and Valtellina sectors.
