Neglect Ruins 100 Watches
A note urges handing a dirty watch to the repair department rather than neglecting it, reflecting concern over the loss or damage of timepieces and the need for proper maintenance.
Rainmaking Invention Aims At Semi Arid Regions
Mr Hatfield seeks government backing for a system he claims can dramatically increase rainfall, especially in semi arid areas of the United States. He asserts gains from 100 to 300 percent and says his method has never failed. He targets regions with some rainfall, not extremely dry deserts, as the key to solving the rain problem.
