John F. F. McManus is freed after 12 jurors declare him not guilty of murder in the Pullman saloon shooting on February 8. The jury, led by foreman J. W. Tulloch, returned a short verdict at 9:15 this morning amid funerallike relief and emotional scenes from McManus's wife Kay.
