Prosecutor Boon fails to convict engineer in train wreck case

Second Spraying Outfit Arrives For Pendleton Orchards

Howard Evans, Umatilla county fruit inspector, says one spraying outfit cannot meet demand. He will bring a second outfit from Milton to morrow to thoroughly spray nearly all city orchards to curb pests. Organ Ordered for New M. EB. Church

Rev Robert Warter of the M EB church has ordered a Kimball Duplex Tubular Pneumatic Pipe organ for the new church building. The large two manual and pedal base instrument will be dedicated in June and designed to harmonize with the interior architecture. Borah Under Discussion in Washington April 16

United States District Attorney Buick of Idaho travels to Washington to confer with Attorney General Bonaparte over the federal grand jury’s work at Boise. Reports say the body indicted Senator Borah for conspiracy in land frauds and that Borah has asked the Justice Department to review the papers before serving. Bonaparte says he will not interfere with the grand jury. Borah claims a plot by the Western Federation of Miners targets him for provoking Haywood.
