Reservation Road Delays Signal New Route Proposals
Stockmen delayed by petitions to add a Cayuse to east reservation line road in Wenaha district. Surveys are under way with Kimbrell and Purnish. Main route runs east from Pendleton past the agency to three miles from Cayuse, then south to Meacham. A south Pendleton to Cayuse bridge route and a Cayuse spring to east line road are also planned, with Umatilla river bridging likely needed.

The Girl Question Play Receives Warm Reception

The show is a lively frisky comic opera with pretty chorus girls, stylish specialties, and a buck and wing finale.
