Pella area boys ages eight through 13 may register for the fifth annual Punt Pass & Kick contest at Ulrich Motor Co. in Pella. Registration is 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Monday October 11 with a $5 fee. prizes include jackets helmets trophies and medals.

Registration for multiple Recreation Commission classes opens on October 11. Goren bridge taught by Mrs. Carl Gaass with a $4 fee, eight weeks October 11 to November 29 at the Public Safety Building. Also knitting led by Mrs. Keith Van Zee begins October 11 with two sections starting October 26 and 28 at American Legion Building, $4 fee. Fun and Figure class at Webster School gym begins October 26 with $4 registration. Woodworking class at Pella Community High School starts October 26, directed by Mr. James Ruthven, $4 fee.
