Extra-Good Pizza Sauce Recipe and Autumn Notes
A nostalgic kitchen vignette from September 26, 1963 recalls autumn scenes on a farm, Mama’s canning, and a Saturday visit with Francene Poortinga. It shares an Easy Pizza Sauce recipe from Theresa Rempe, detailing tomatoes, onion, pepper, garlic, oregano, basil, salt, sugar, butter, flour, and steps to sterilize jars. Quotes pep talk lines and a closing onion about perseverance.
